Although Marvel has dabbled here and there, DC has largely owned the market of straight-to-DVD (or VOD) animation, and they've produced classics like Mask of the Phantasm...and absolute disasters like Apokolips War...with dozens in between.
(mostly Batman or Justice League related, but that's another topic)
In 2009, we got Wonder Woman, which was well received by critics and fans, and went on to become one of their best sellers overall. And, in 2019, we got Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, set in their interconnected universe of the time, dubbed the DCAMU.
They each have their strengths and weaknesses, but I for one think she should have more.
So, I've compiled a list of stories from the comics that can be adapted and/or particular characters that can have movies built around them.
Okay? Okay....
It's wild (or a testament to how little attention Wonder Woman gets) that we've never seen anything close to this come up outside the original comic arc. Artemis herself has appeared here and there in adaptation, but her defining story?
Anyway, I think this would make a fun two-parter (I don't think it would work as one movie) with Part I being about Diana defending her title in a new Contest and losing, then Part II being about Artemis with the mantle and culminating in the battle against the White Magician.
Cheetah
Similar to Artemis and her Contest, it's kind of crazy we've seen Cheetah pop up in multiple animated adaptations, but have yet to see a proper origin or "first battle" between her and Wonder Woman. Seems kind of obvious.
Curse of the Cheetah
Continuing from there, the story of Sebastian Ballesteros stealing the Cheetah's curse for himself and Barbara trying to get it back with Wonder Woman caught in the middle would make a fun sequel to the previous Cheetah movie.
Circe
Carrying on with giving Diana rogues proper introductions, why not finally give Circe her due? Thus far, all we've ever seen of her is one (god-awful) Justice League Unlimited episode and an in-name-only interpretation of her in the recent Creature Commandos. We need to see her portrayed as the proper threat and enemy of Wonder Woman that she truly is.
Villainy, Inc.
We sort of got one with Bloodlines, but that Villainy, Inc. was just one sub-plot in a movie that was bloated with them. I'd like to see one where the rogues are the true focus, ideally with Queen Clea as the leader.
...or just make a movie focused on Clea because DC is sleeping on her.
Hell, Aquaman can even have a cameo since she ties to Atlantis.
The Circle
The original comic was heavily tied into the continuity of the time (working off the heels of the disastrous Amazons Attack), but the core premise...an elite team of Amazons that tried to assassinate Diana when she was born escapes their prison and seeks to finish the job...could make for a cool and tense movie.
The Challenge of the Gods
Basic premise—Diana is charged by the gods to journey into the Underworld and fights a bunch of monsters along the way—but would make for a good movie.
A League of One
Even though this is technically a Justice League story, Diana is clearly at the center. She comes across a prophecy that says the League will die fighting a dragon. So, she tries to loophole it by incapacitating the team so she can fight it alone.
Golden Perfect
I'm honestly 'meh' on this story, but it is one of the small few Justice League arcs that centers on Wonder Woman.
The Hiketeia
An iconic story about Wonder Woman protecting a fugitive from Batman.
Just keep it away from Bruce Timm and his crew because they'll certainly alter the story so that Batman is indisputably right and Diana should've listened to him.
Gods of Gotham
Speaking of Bats, this would be fun if for no other reason than we see their respective families interact.
Only reason I'm personally cold on this getting adapted is, like The Hiketeia, I'm sick of Batman and don't want to see him anywhere near Wonder Woman. But, nonetheless, it would make for a decent animated flick.
Nubia
She needs a proper introduction. I like her current origin/status in the comics, but I'd incorporate her Pre-Crisis backstory in some way. She doesn't need to have been kidnapped by Ares, but I'd try to have her initially a foe or antagonistic until she and Diana reconcile.
Who is Donna Troy?
If someone can conjure a coherent origin for Donna, you could get a movie out of her introduction.
Perhaps Diana rescues this mysterious girl from a fire, takes her in, and it turns out there's some dark secret tied to the mythical titans that Wonder Woman must protect her from? Just an idea.
Either way, it would be nice to see some of her sidekicks enter the picture at last.
Devastation
Speaking of the titans, how about a movie revolving around the creation of Devastation and their attempt to tear Wonder Woman down.

That's what I've got, but this is by no means an exhaustive list. There's plenty from her lore, cast and rogues to adapt, and it would be nice to see some more of Wonder Woman's world that isn't just an attachment of mediocre team-ups and Justice League movies.
Here's hoping Warner/DC is willing to give her the spotlight more often in the future.
